The American Appraisal Association is in the business of conducting jewelry appraisals and full service laboratory reports. The information stated in this certificate/report is the result of laboratory examination with the described item present during examination. The gemologist used all standard and necessary laboratory grading tools; microscope, jewelers loupe, color grading chart, color scale, master stone set, millimeter gauge, fluorescence lamp, leverage gauge, ruler; etc.
This report is in fact a gemological opinion and does not state a fact. Diamonds and gemstone grading is not considered a science of any form, but an opinion which can vary on many occasions depending on the graders equipment, lighting condition, grading techniques and amount of experience in the trade from the gemologist.
This document is for estimating the retail, wholesale and liquidation values in order to obtain insurance. Approximate retail evaluation is not a guarantee.
